Comet is a GFP Blue-Gill Dirty Leucistic Axolotl! This little guy is one of the more remarkable axolotls from our signature line of Super Dirty Leucistic Axolotls. He has a tremendous amount of dark pigmentation that starts on its face, extending to the gills (hence the blue-gill characteristic), and travels all the way down to the tip of the tail. Comet also presents an incredibly-intense amount of GFP (Green Fluorescent Protein) that allows him to shine bright beneath blue aquarium lights! With age, Comet will likely develop even more dark pigmentation.
